Safety
Every family deserves to feel safe at home, at school, at work, and in their community. Public safety is one of government’s most important responsibilities and requires a balanced approach that focuses on prevention, preparedness, accountability, and community trust.
As a survivor of violent crime, I understand firsthand how a single act of violence can affect victims, families, and entire communities for years. That experience reinforced my belief that safety is not a political issue, it is a community issue.
As a state representative, I will support efforts to reduce violence, strengthen school safety, invest in mental health resources, support first responders, and ensure victims have access to the resources they need to recover. Missouri families deserve safe neighborhoods, strong communities, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing their government takes public safety seriously.
Safety is not about fear. It is about creating communities where people can live, work, learn, and thrive.
