Missourians are working hard, but too many families feel like their paychecks simply don’t go as far as they used to. The cost of groceries, housing, utilities, childcare, healthcare, insurance, and transportation continues to put pressure on household budgets.

I believe state government should focus on making everyday life more affordable instead of passing costs down to working families.

Keeping More Money in Your Pocket

Tax policy should benefit working families, not just those at the top. I will support responsible tax policies that provide meaningful relief to middle and working class Missourians while protecting the essential services our communities depend on.

Affordable Housing

Buying or renting a home is becoming increasingly difficult. Missouri needs policies that encourage more housing, remove unnecessary barriers to development, and help communities meet growing housing needs without pricing families out.

Lower Healthcare Costs

Healthcare is one of the largest expenses many families face. I will support efforts to lower prescription drug and healthcare costs, protect access to affordable coverage, and increase transparency so Missourians understand what they are paying for.

Affordable Childcare

For many working parents, childcare can cost as much as housing. Missouri should strengthen access to reliable, affordable childcare so parents can work and children can have a strong start.

Lower Utility and Energy Costs

Families should not have to worry about whether they can afford to heat or cool their homes. I will support responsible energy policies, consumer protections, and investments that help keep utility costs manageable.

A Government Focused on Your Budget

Every dollar government spends ultimately comes from the people it represents. I will approach Missouri’s budget the same way families approach theirs: prioritize what matters, eliminate waste, plan for the future, and make sure taxpayers are getting something worthwhile for their money.

Missouri should be a place where someone who works hard can afford a home, raise a family, save for the future, and retire with dignity.

That’s the standard I will fight for.
